Participants understand the judicial proceedings that take place under the YPA in the different stages of intervention and the role and responsibilities of the authorized person during this process.
They become aware of the social intervention that must precede judicial intervention and that must be grounded in a family-centered approach, where the intervener encourages the active participation of the child and parents to create conditions facilitating consent and adherence to the proposed measures.
The interveners are equipped to better assess and manage risk and they are able to draw on different mobilizing strategies to do so.
